Verve Spice has consistently delivered some of the best kottu we’ve had in Melbourne—flavourful, authentic, and always satisfying. We’ve tried a variety over different occasions, and each time the quality’s been spot on. The egg roti and other Sri Lankan dishes are equally impressive, packed with traditional flavours that hit home. A definite go-to for anyone craving real Sri Lankan food!

I recently tried their Chef Special Fried Rice. The dish was delicious—filled with flavorful chicken, shrimp, and fresh vegetables, all perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant dining experience.

Fantastic Sri Lankan Flavors!Verve Spice is a true gem. The food is rich, fresh, and full of authentic Sri Lankan flavor. The hoppers and devilled chicken were standouts. Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere make it a place we’ll definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

We had our Atkinson Rugby after-party at Verve Spices, and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, packed with authentic Sri Lankan flavours. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome throughout the evening. The location is perfect – convenient and beautifully set up for a great night out. Highly recommend Verve Spices for any gathering or a casual meal. We’ll definitely be back!

We were at Verve Spice for dinner with a bunch of friends last night and the food really hit the spot. The 20 all you can eat buffet was great value for money. Some of us also ordered the string hoppers which came with a coconut sambol, dhal and chicken curry which they really nailed. They also serve some cocktails and the Moscow Mule was spot on.It's not easy to find such good Sri Lankan food, cooked with love, being served in a clean and cosy space at affordable prices in Melbourne's Inner East. Definitely worth a visit...looking forward to coming back to try their hoppers!

Enjoyed a nice dinner here on a Friday night. I came in for the kottu and it was delicious! This place was quiet, the food was very well priced, and the staff were super friendly, especially David.
